New Cover-Same Beautiful Story
What happens when the very thing ruining your life ends up saving it? I was never one to believe in spirits—until six years ago, when a bone-chilling accident changed my life…forever. My name is Charlotte, but most people call me Char…and I have a special gift. I talk to the dead. Make no mistake, I can’t summon them. I’m only able to see and speak to the spirits that linger when they’re unable to crossover. They’re somehow weighted to the world with unfinished affairs. And for the last six years, I’ve relentlessly used my gift to help their lost souls. But it’s come at a price. My life is dark. Feeling despondent, I’ve begun to give up. And in helping the dead, I’ve realized I haven’t allowed myself to live. With no money, no place to go, and most importantly… no hope, I’ve decided there is only one option—to end it all. But fate is a funny thing. One minute, I’m about to leap to my death, and the next, I’m saved by Ike McDermott. The strong, striking soldier stopped me from putting an end to my despair. He’s the kind of man that smiles and brightens an entire room. Sweet and gentle. He is my savior. And he’s dead. We’ve made an agreement. He’ll help me find a place to stay and a new job if I’ll help him with his unfinished business so that he may crossover. Ike’s unfinished matter involves his twin brother, George. George has been falling apart since Ike’s death and Ike has not been able to compel himself to crossover in peace until he knows George will be okay. When I agreed to help, little did I know that I’d fall in love with the charming folks of Bath County, and…Ike and George McDermott. Now, as both brothers own equal parts of my heart, I am faced with a cruel and unfair predicament. In saving George, I must let go of Ike. But how does one let go of half of their heart?

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 May 2017OMG where to start reviewing this amazingly, profound beautiful book. The writing is perfect, the story unique and full of every emotion you could experience in one story and this subject is really close to my heart.
I was a B N Toler virgin - never read a book by her before; it was the blurb that sold me on this book which I may add has been sitting on my kindle for a long while - and honestly this subject matter fascinates me. I believe in God and in life after death and in spirits so I was invested straight away - but this book is so much more than this.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - you know when you have found a certain book that captures your heart and soul when you read it in a day and can't even stand to put it down. The only time I did was when it all became too much at certain points and I went and made myself a coffee ( it was early morning or else it would have been vodka had it been evening) So emotional, so poignant and so very touching it was breaking my heart, there were tears but there was also immense joy and hope too.
Charlotte is struggling with life after the death of her brother Axel, she also finds out she has a very special gift - at first one that she is not sure she wants at all, she can see and hear dead people but only those who have unfinished business and cannot pass over to the other side without her help. Cast aside by her mother and father , Charlotte goes on a journey where life wears her down only to be "saved" by Ike McDermott who just happens to be dead, but in need of some help from Charlotte to save his brother George from a downward spiral in his life - he can't move on until he does and Charlotte is the person he needs to help him, but how will Charlotte deal with Ike and his demands. They make a deal that could change both of their life's with unknown consequences lying before them. This is that remarkable journey.
Utterly beautiful, heartwarming and in some places there are touches of humour, this book was a privilege to read, an experience I had wished I would have taken sooner. All the characters were amazing and wonderfully written and constructed to give us a story that I'll never forget or want to. I never wanted it to end but I knew it had to - I could have read this book forever and I would never have tired from it.
If there is one thing you do open your mind and read this book - it is a gift, a treasure to take with us.
"Sometimes we have to hit rock bottom before we can make our way back up"
" 'Moments come and go; quick flickers in time. Yet those moments can have the profoundest impact on our lives. Either we seize them, and wield them to our needs, or we let them go. It's the moments we let go that, I believe, remain with us strongest—because regret is something that never leaves us."
Perfect !!!!!!!!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 August 2016It is with tears streaming down my cheeks that I write this review. I haven't been moved by a book for a long time. In fact, prior to Where One Goes, I've only shed tears three times, and I've read hundreds, and hundreds, of books. Where to start... Charlotte has a gift that brings her such distress but comforts the living. It's a curse until she meets Ike. Paranormal, although I don't actually want to call this paranormal, it's a love story, a heartbreaking love story, isn't my normal read. But I saw this being spoken about on social media and it intrigued me. This is a beautiful story of lost souls, both alive and not, of friendship and love. Of broken people who connect through Charlotte's gift. I first shed tears just before half way and I didn't stop until the end. In fact, I sobbed out loud at one part. I cursed the author, even, for making me cry. The characters are so well defined, so relatable, I felt I truly knew them. The plot flows, it's dual point of view and I loved reading Charlotte's, Ike's, and George's story. The transition between POV was seamless. I pictured every scene, I was there with them, and my heart broke for them. B N Toler has woven such a wonderful, beautiful (did I say that already?), and heartbreaking love story I wish it were real. This needs to be on the big screen, for sure!
Let me quote something that moved me... 'When men walk into hell together, they believe they will walk out the same way and when that doesn't happen, when one brother comes home and the other doesn't, there a guilt so choking, you can't breathe.' (Forgive any errors, they will be entirely mine and not representative of the book.)
And another... 'Moments come and go; quick flickers in time. Yet those moments can have the profoundest impact on our lives. Either we seize them, and wield them to our needs, or we let them go. It's the moments we let go that, I believe, remain with us strongest—because regret is something that never leaves us.'
I could go on and quote more of some of the wonderful lines from this book, instead, I'm going to say this...If you don't believe the rating, trust me, Where one Goes is worth every one of those five stars. A paranormal fan or not, this is a love story and I'm beyond thrilled that I've discovered it. Thank you, B N Toler for your amazing story and sharing Charlotte, Ike, and George with me. I can't recommend this book highly enough.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 December 2018I put off from reading Where One Goes for a long time until I entered a dare to read book challenge, and all I can say is that I am so glad I was finally pushed into reading it. This book was definitely different to anything I had read before and I lost myself in the pages.
Where One Goes is a gut wrenching read that drew out every ounce of my emotions. The writing was amazing and I was able to connect with Ike, Charlotte and George effortlessly in this unconventional love story. The pain I felt for Ike was so palpable. I was unable to escape the feeling of such hopelessness and wanting for him to desperately have what seemed so impossible. Charlotte was an amazing special character and her chemistry with Ike was just soul mate level. Their banter and chemistry was heart melting and also heart-breaking. I loved the theme of the story and how George fit in. How sacrificing ones happiness for a loved one can rob you of all the things you never got to experience in life. It made me think of life and death, of love and loss and the spiritual realm.
This is one book that made me love both of the sexy and passionate heroes without hating on the other. Whilst I loved George whose actions displayed how much he suffered the loss of his brother Ike, his struggles in dealing with his grief and self-worth. I loved that he found a life line in Charlotte and the love they shared, but for me big brother Ike was just something else and I couldn’t help fall more in love with his character and the deep love he felt for his baby girl, Charlotte. I was late to the party in reading Where One Goes but can definitely agree its a must read!

5.0 out of 5 stars SIMPLY AMAZING
I don't even know how to begin to describe this story and the emotions it brought out in me. It was simply beautiful, stunning, heart wrenching, loving, funny, sexy and so dam good.
People will tell you its a paranormal book, I disagree, to me its a love story, through and through. Now I know she be talking to dead people, BUT ITS A LOVE STORY, of EPIC proportions. The chemistry between Ike and Charlotte is off the charts, and not just sexual tensions chemistry these two just click. I think I wanted Ike to be alive even more than Charlotte did.
Ike, Charlotte and George, will all break your heart, and together they will put you back together. In this story there are so many heart felt moments that will leave you in a snot filled ugly cry mess, BUT, they are so worth it. I mean I can't talk to dead people, but this one makes you want to. You put yourself in their shoes and what would you say if you could talk to that one person just one more time.
The story line, was amazing, it was refreshing it held my interest from beginning to end. I love the epilogue, I want more. I never wanted their stories to end. This one will stay with me for a long time. Top shelf read for me, I need a signed copy of this baby. This is my second book by BN Toler, I plan on reading the rest of them.
Amazing read, again simply beautiful story. A story of love, faith, healing, forgiving, and moving forward

Talvez porque me senti triste com a situação dele.
- Todas as malditas músicas”
OBS: O livro citado que li o ano passado se chama LOSING ME, FINDING YOU da Natalie Ward.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Blogging Review for WHERE ONE GOES. (AMAZING! It's mind-blowing, breathtaking & emotionally gripping! PERFECT! *MUST READ*)
My ‘Blogging Reader’s Review’ after reading ‘WHERE ONE GOES’(via:BooksMoviesFandoms.wordpress.c o m):
This is the first time I’ve read something from author B. N. Toler and I’m definitely a new fan. “Where One Goes” is of the Paranormal Romance genre and it has definitely captivated me as a reader. I have to admit that this has become one of my new absolute favorite novels. This novel is the first that has made me finally dish out my first perfect 5 rating, that’s how enamored I am with this story. Readers will get to enjoy this story from a total of three P.O.V.’s(point of views) from the main characters Charlotte “Char” Acres, Ike McDermott, and George McDermott.
What would you do if you could see and talk with the dead? This is a question that Charlotte “Char” Acres has an answer to and has lived with this ability everyday since her near death experience. After the loss of her best friend/older brother Axel, she’s been a different person. Her parents didn’t understand her changes and assumed it was all just a part of her coping with the loss but there was more to it all. She feels alone, distant from those she once knew, and has been feeling down by the weight that comes with having only the dead to talk to. She doesn’t see all dead souls, it’s only those with unfinished business. Once their business is taken care of, they move on and Char is left alone again. Charlotte has helped many for the past few years but it has all finally started to get to her. With little money and no place left to call home, she’s ready to give up. Just as she’s about to end it all, someone intercepts her plan.
Ike McDermott died at war. He comes from the friendly small-town called Warm Springs, Virginia. He was an attractive guy, shared a close relationship with his loving family and was best friend’s with his twin brother George. He’s been stuck feeling alone while he watches his family grieve for him helplessly. Unfortunately, his twin brother George is spiraling down a terrible path after receiving the news of Ike’s death. When Ike comes across Charlotte at one of his old favorite hang outs, he realizes that maybe they can help each other out. They make a deal that Char hesitantly agrees to; he will help her and in return, he needs her to help his twin from destroying his life. Along the way, a genuine friendship and strong feelings grow between a soul with unfinished business and the young woman who is the only one who can see or help him.
George McDermott has always thought that his twin brother who also happened to be his best friend, was not only a great soldier but was the better of the two. When he received news about Ike’s death, it hit him so hard. He began using drugs to try and numb his pain and started having an unhealthy relationship with a woman who belonged to another. This wasn’t what he would normally act like but something snapped in him when he was hit with the great loss of the closest person in his life. Will he ever be able to truly grieve and fix his life before it’s too late for him to be saved?
Charlotte comes to Warm Springs and quickly realizes that this town gives her hope and may actually offer her more than she could ever imagine. George is quick to not trust her. But she is determined to help out Ike and George. Ike and Charlotte begin growing an attachment with each other that makes their closeness hard to handle, knowing that soon they will have to say goodbye forever. As much as George tries to fight against Charlotte’s help, they both begin to develop feelings that they never expected toward each other. How will Charlotte handle her connection to both brothers? How will it all end?
This novel is by far one of my absolute favorites! It’s mind-blowing, breathtaking, and emotionally gripping. My heart was all over the place with this one and I actually teared up more times with this story than I have with any other novel. It was exquisitely beautiful! The characters each pull you into the story in their own ways and add so much value to the storyline. Read this with your heart open and I promise you that you’ll be just as enthralled as I found myself. I didn’t want it to end because I knew what was coming but I just didn’t know exactly how it would all play out in the end. It did not disappoint. Their is humor, romance, suspense, heartbreak, and hope- all wrapped together in this wonderfully written novel. I highly recommend this one. You should definitely get a copy of this book and add it to your TBR list for sure. One of the best I’ve read! Bravo.
My star rating for WHERE ONE GOES is: 5 out of 5 stars!!! :)

5.0 out of 5 stars You need a box of tissues for this one!
It's been about a day now since I have finished this book and I am still feeling this book to the deepest parts of my Soul. Currently I'm listening to Adele "Someone like you" and it is hopefully putting me in an emotional state to write a review.
5 beautiful, heart breaking, guilty "Where One Goes when one crossover" Stars. I highly recommendto get the tissues out luckily noone at work noticed the water works. Embarrassing? Yep! Do I care? No. This is the first book I read of this author and well in my eyes she has a lot to live up to now. I got sucked in to this book from the first page and although there are some things that would usually trigger a negative response, here they didn't.
Charlotte, call me Char has been alone for 6 years, she sees dead people, yes, the whole 6th sense thing is going on here. 6 years of hardly any real social contact. Sorry but ghosts/dead people don't count. She has come to the end of the road with no money, no will left to live and no hope and there is only one way out. After tipping off the police to Casey's murder (ghost who is in limbo)
Ike McDermott has a dilemma, he is dead, in limbo and needs to sáve his twin brother George. He needs help and that is where he meets Char at the bridge ready to take some drastic measures. They make a deal. Ike helps Charlotte get back on her feet. Charlotte helps with his twin George.
George is spiralling out of control. After Ike's death. He has turned to coke, sleeping with his employee and being an arse. We also have the resident skank Misty. The dodgy Scots man named Sniper who served with Ike.
How does Charlotte get George to give her a Job at "George and Ike's Restaurant" well guess his favorite song of course.
The interaction between "both couples" is really amazing and I was torn to be on whoose Team. It showed that if Ike would have been alive then Charlotte never would have choosen between the two. Ike was jealous but if anyone should be with Charlotte then it would be George. Both Ike and George have their strengths and weaknessess which made me love both so much. Charlotte is a strong individual and has a strong moral sense and is reserved and observes before she makes her move.
George felt the same that although Charlotte loved Ike at was at least his twin brother. It deals with how Charlotte although she helps one of them she will loose the other.
Pain is deep, demons lie awake waiting to reer their head. Time doesn't heal all wounds but it does get better. The broken pieces make us who we are and together we can be whole. We all want to take the blame the something that was never our fault. We always want the other to prevail.
Ike and George had a supporting family whereas her parents sent her on her merry way thirty thousand dollars to take a holiday as her gift was affecting their life.
I wasn't entirely sure what to expect when Ike and Charlotte started having feelings for one another and then George and Charlotte also started to have Feelings for one another. I was like what? how on earth is this going to work? A ghostly love triangle, odd but it worked and I don't do love triangles. So that is saying something.
Thank you Ms. Toler for this fantastic book. This is just my honest opinion on this book. I'm sure there are some things that bothered me but they don't weigh enough on me to mention.

5.0 out of 5 stars Haunting love story
Words cannot express just how much I loved this story! I stayed up til 1:30am reading this as I couldn't put it down.
This story made me laugh, cry, and similar to Char I fell in love with both Ike and George.
I have to admit, I hate love triangles! On the very very rare occasion I enjoy a book containing a love triangle, but 9 times out of 10 I don't enjoy them.
This book is definitely the exception! I loved both Ike & George, and I wanted there to be some way Char could be with both of them.
This is my first B.N Toler book, and I am definitely going to check out her other books after this amazing book!
