I can’t believe Iv not read this before, it’s prob because the cover has changed that Iv now noticed the book. I was constantly stuck between disbelief at the word vomit that the characters say and laughing my head off at it. It was cute, smutty and funny. Kinda insta love which is why it wasn’t 5 ⭐️ for me as I don’t love that but it was still a good story. He’s the Hockey captain She his Team mates sister

    I have wanted to read this book ever since it was first released. There was a lot of hype on social media about it, so I was excited to get started. It turned out to be the perfect weekend read. "Pucked" was hilariously funny, extremely romantic and it left me with a huge smile on my face. This is a book that you don't want to miss.

    Violet was a fantastic female character. I fell in love with her instantly and I quickly developed a bit of a girl crush. She was just so damn funny. I howled with laughter at some of things she said or did. Violet's dialogue was so witty and unique. At times there was a little bit of crudeness with the things that she said that some readers may not like, however I was unable to stop myself from laughing. I loved everything about this girl, from her super hero underwear to her potty mouth.

    I loved Alex equally as much as Violet. Alex was a sexy ice hockey player with a playboy reputation. Like most of his other team members, it was assumed that Alex was not at all the kind of guy you would want to be in a relationship with. However I soon realised that my assumptions were wrong. Alex made my heart sigh. He was just so lovely. I loved how romantic he was, the way that he pursued Violet melted my heart. To my surprise Alex came across as a little bit nerdy and also a little bit nervous when it came to Violet. I found his lack of confidence in this area to be endearing and it was just another reason why he stole my heart.

    Alex and Violet's relationship was so much fun. They made a brilliant couple. It was a relationship that was jam packed with multi-orgasmic sex, a heap of hilarity and it was topped off with the most cutest romance. I was completely entertained from start to finish by Alex and Violet. I'm not saying that everything was perfect between the pair. There were a few niggles and one huge hurdle to tackle, but Alex and Violet were too fantastic together for them not to work things out. They belonged together.

    If you are looking for a book that will cheer you up and make you laugh out loud, this is the one for you. I would love to see this story on the big screen. I think it would make the most perfect romantic comedy. Now, I can't wait to read Buck's story, I'm hoping that it will be just as fabulous as this book.

    It was my first Helena Hunting book, Alex and Violet were the perfect couple. Hot but nerdy, not the stereotypical college ice hockey player that you would usually read about. The chemistry they have with each other was obvious from the start and the one liners from Violet were unreal. It was like she was inside my brain.

    While Alex had a playboy reputation, quoting Tolstoy was enough to have Violet melting in the middle. LITERALLY.

    If you need something that will have you crying with laughter but also lots of steamy smutty sex, this is the book for you.

    I got exactly what I expected with Pucked and it was great. It’s a very raunchy, sex-filled, binge-worthy book and I didn’t want to put it down. You get pretty invested in the characters pretty fast and it’s so easy to get fully immersed into the story.

    Pucked is laugh out loud funny at times but also equal parts cringe-worthy. There were a few parts throughout the story which I didn’t enjoy and I was practically shouting at Violet and Alex through the Kindle screen.

    Overall it’s a quick read which I feel is a great palate cleanser between other more heavy books. I think this series will quickly become a guilty pleasure of mine.

She's the kind of girl you want as your best friend especially when you read her relationships with the other characters in the book, especially Charlene, together they are one hell of a duo. Alex.... Oh holy hell!! That is one hot specimen of man. He's gorgeous, rugged and a hockey player what more could a girl want?!? Oh yeah he's sensitive too! I think I finished the book and he had completely stole my heart because he is the TOTAL package when it comes to book boyfriends! Oh and just wait til you meet the rest of the team *winks*

    Pucked is the book that got me hooked on Hockey Romances and made me a Helena Hunting fan for life!
    This book has everything you could possibly want in a romance read. Filled with hot, sexy naked times that will melt your Kindle and the two people doing the dirty - everywhere you should and lots of places you shouldn’t- are fantastic characters that you are going to love and follow religiously throughout the series.

    Well, I finally got around to reading Pucked, after a long time of wanting to get to it, and I was not disappointed. Good lord this book was awesome.

    Violet and Alex were fantastic main characters, and I loved each and every moment that they spent together. They were hilarious, they were sweet, they were sexy, but above all they were perfect for each other.

    I enjoyed the secondary characters in this book too, they helped make it what it is, and have certainly left me wanting more for follow up stories. This is going to be a fave series of mine, I can tell already.

    I also really enjoyed the fact that this was well and truly a sports romance. Some sports romance novels you get a little bit of the sport here and there, but in Pucked, we get a tonne of hockey and hockey players and game descriptions. I thoroughly enjoyed that aspect of the book, just as much as I did with all the others.

    I highly recommend this book, I loved everything about it, and I can’t wait to continue the series.

    Oh, and where can I get one of those beavers? 😉

    I cannot believe that I have owned this book since 2015! Where have I been? I absolutely loved it!

    The book starts off with Violet’s perspective, where she’s getting a little busy with herself and gets interrupted by her rude mother, since she lives in the pool house on the same property as her mother and stepfather. Her stepbrother is a professional hockey player and, as a family, they see his games many times, especially if it’s local. So when Violet goes to his game, she notices Alex, the captain of the team. The eye contact between them was serious, intense, and hypnotic. I mean, I felt it in my nether regions just like Violet did LOL. Because her brother is a hockey player and is one of the biggest man hoars out there, she knows not to get involved with one, not having the best opinions about puck bunnies. However, the connection between Alex and Violet was instantaneous and she finds her self extremely attracted to him and ends up having a one-night stand with him.

    Alex doesn’t have the cleanest reputation, just like a lot of the other players on the team. So when they have their rendezvous, Violet has no expectations for them to continue their relationship. But Alex is not like other guys on the team; in fact, all of the speculations and rumors are basically lies, but it’s something that he’s never cleared or clarified to the media. He continues to pursue Violet, and he does it in the most gentlemanly, respectful, yet extremely hot way (I wouldn’t have minded if he had been a little more alpha and j/p... maybe drag her or force her a couple of times lol but this worked with his personality). He’s persistent and very swoony in his pursuit LOL, and the way Violet made me laugh was so embarrassing, but it totally had me devouring this book even faster LOL (it’s times like this where I wish I didn’t have to adult in life LOL).

    Their chemistry was 🔥🥵and their smexy times were 💦🔥. This it’s definitely fast burn and insta love, and I was here👏🏻for👏🏻it👏🏻all!!! Dear Lordt it was good!! When Alex messed up, I also felt like I was punched in my gut. But the grovel was SOOO GOOD! This has one of the best grovels I have ever read. Many may think that it’s cheesy, even Violet admits it as it’s happening, but it was really the only way he could have made up for what he did. I looooved it all! I also like how it sets up for book number two, which I am definitely going to read. I actually read Alex and Violet‘s daughter’s book last year LOL, not knowing that I probably should have read this book 1st. That one was a good one too.

    Highly recommended!! Be ready to laugh, swoon, fan your face, face palm your whole head, roll your eyes, feel emotional, and have an enjoyable experience by reading this book.
