      Do not waste your money. You could read this informationfor free on the internet. Hardly useful. A good paid for guide should include which Pokemon defeat others. What cp rating you are aiming for. Why you should power up before evolving. Etc.

      This was fairly helpful, if a little dry. My 6 year old son is into pokemon go but neither of us know that much about it so thought reading this would be a good idea. It could be better and a bit more interesting I think as is purely text, and relies heavily on pokemon words which may be a bit baffling to a newcomer but we did learn a few things which will come in handy, e.g. battery saving mode, and my son's favourite: 're naming your pokemon , so I'm glad we read it.

      Oh dear Lord. I learned a lot while reading this book. And I have been playing Pokemon since the original Blue version came out. Nevertheless, this is an amazing guide for the App, it provides.. well EVERYTHING you need to know. I used to be confused by the app regarding some features, since the included tutorial is rather short, but after I DEVOURED the information in this book, there are literally no questions left.       I was a little old for the card game in the 90's so this was great for an utter newbie. Very informative about scoring and somewhat good with battling. You might want to do a quarterly update as some of the little details mentioned are not there, I.e. footprints telling how far away a Pokémon is from you and the circle showing each captured Pokemon's level.
