This is a dark tale of superstition. A freelance knight is found on the outskirts of a medieval village after a severe storm. The knight must overcome the villagers’ fear that he may be a dark spirit that caused the storm and the village’s misfortunes. The epic poem includes the rescue of two children from a dragon. This tale is told entirely in verse after the fashion of the minstrels of the middle ages.
